Padmore Global Connections LLC is seeking a Security Compliance Project Manager to support the DHS Security Team on audit and compliance engagements. The role is remote and contract-based, reporting to the PMO and DHS Security leadership, with emphasis on planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of information security project leadership, familiarity with NIST 800-53 and IRS Pub 1075, and PMP or equivalent credentials.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience leading projects with information security or compliance focus (occurring in the last 3 years).
• Experience in information security principles and standards such as NIST 800-53, IRS Pub 1075.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or specialized training and 3 years of IT project management experience.
• PMP certification from PMI or equivalent certification.
• Expert level hands‑on experience with MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint 2013, and MS O365.
• Masters degree in related field or specialized security certifications.
• Experience within the last 3 years leading/coordinating vendor managed/ audit projects.
• Executive level written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working in state government.
• Experience in Health and Human Services Systems, eligibility projects, and business processes.
• Experience working in an outsourced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management consultation to the DHS security team.
• Plan and create audit/compliance project schedules and monitor progress against plan.
• Develop audit management tools for scope management, risk assessment, and communications.
• Monitor performance, report status, and flag risks in compliance projects.
• Conclude engagements with verification and lesson‑learned sessions.
• Promote and support PMO policies and processes.
• Direct project team members and coordinate with vendors, analysts, and SMEs.
