Job summary

Rhymetec is seeking a Security Program Manager to lead technical cyber security programs from scoping to delivery, while guiding a small team of Security Analysts. You will build and govern information security programs, conduct gap and risk assessments, and manage audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI) for diverse clients.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in cybersecurity/GRC, 2+ years in program management, and experience with waterfall, hybrid, and agile delivery. Remote work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working in cybersecurity and GRC.
• 2+ years of program management.
• Fast-paced, multi-program environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience with waterfall, hybrid, and agile delivery.
• Leadership with influence even without direct authority.
• Proactive issue anticipation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and modern cloud systems.
• Strong project management skills.
• People management and delegation abilities.
• CISSP/CISM/CRISC or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical cyber security programs from scoping to delivery at scale.
• Manage a small team of Security Analysts to implement security measures.
• Develop information security programs including gap and risk assessments.
• Lead audits for SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI for customers.
• Drive project management, create tasks and milestones.
• Ensure timely work completion and on-time security objectives.
• Monitor SLAs and track project progress and performance.
• Support customer retention through effective governance.
