Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to serve as a technical security partner across AI, Enterprise Architecture, and Business Development teams in a remote role. You will shape secure, compliant solutions by guiding design decisions and aligning teams as priorities evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in information technology.
• 5+ years of experience in Security Architecture/Engineering.
• Professional security certification such as CISSP or CCSP is desired.
• Experience with US Federal government security architecture or security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Determines security requirements by assessing business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, studying architecture/platform, and identifying integration points and issues.
• Develops requirements and strategies to address information security needs and oversees projects through implementation phase.
• Works with information security and IT teams to ensure changes are assimilated and functioning correctly.
• Defines security requirements for information technologies and solutions.
• Partners with other technical architects to ensure enterprise architecture alignment.
• Ensures information security controls meet regulatory/contractual requirements.
• Researches new technologies to evaluate trends and requirements.
• Provides subject matter expertise for compliance activities.
• Develops strategic relationships and partnerships with internal and external partners.
