Job summary

Informa TechTarget in Newton, MA is seeking a strategic Security Architect to define and drive cloud and enterprise security architecture. You will own the security architecture vision, establish governance frameworks, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to embed security across our technology ecosystem.

You will lead security initiatives for AWS and GCP, implement IAM with least privilege, and guide DevSecOps, threat modeling, and risk assessments to protect critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with deep cloud security expertise.
• Proven track record leading enterprise security architecture in multi-cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud service provider security best practices around AWS, GCP.
• Web application security testing using OWASP.
• Network vulnerability scanning.
• Container and Kubernetes security.
• Experience with security testing tools and platforms.
• Ability to lead security discussions with system architects and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud security architecture across AWS and GCP, including CSPM, CIEM, and remediation strategies.
• Design IAM architecture based on least privilege and Zero Trust models.
• Architect secure network segmentation and defense-in-depth controls.
• Lead security platforms like SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint security, and threat detection systems.
• Drive threat modeling and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Lead SDLC and DevSecOps initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security in CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor development and DevOps teams on secure coding practices.
