Job summary

MedSpecialized, Inc. is seeking an SEC Reporting Accountant to prepare and review financial statements for SPACCatalyst, ensuring US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC compliance. You will work with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support quarterly and annual filings remotely, with a schedule of 11:00 PM–8:00 AM.

The role includes preparing Form 10-Q/10-K, month-end close, and regulatory reporting, while maintaining accuracy and robust controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in US SEC reporting.
• Experience supporting SPAC and/or IPO transactions.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting 10-K and 10-Q filings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting schedules for SEC reporting entities.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of Form 10-Q and Form 10-K reports.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, SEC regulations, and internal accounting policies.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Perform financial statement analysis and account reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Research and document technical accounting matters and new standards.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for SEC reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather regulatory reporting data.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
