Job summary

Greentech Renewables is seeking an SDET / QA Automation Engineer to build automated quality and migration-validation for Ensemble 2.0, validating partner APIs, databases, and end-to-end workflows.

Work closely with Product and Engineering to translate complex rules into maintainable test suites, ensuring parity with the legacy platform through automated testing and data reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years of QA automation/SDET experience
• REST API testing with Postman/Newman or Playwright
• Strong SQL skills; SQL Server experience
• Programming/scripting in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
• Experience testing critical business workflows with regression scenarios
• Write concise, reproducible defect reports
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Troubleshoot across logs, APIs, databases, and test results

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for APIs, database outcomes, and workflows
• Build reusable API test suites and utilities covering auth, errors, versioning, and contract behavior
• Validate SQL Server outcomes after workflow execution for data integrity
• Create end-to-end automated coverage for project creation, milestones, invoices, credits, remittance events
• Test reliability behaviors: retries, idempotency, timeouts, asynchronous processing
• Translate business rules and defects into durable regression tests
• Add frontend regression coverage where meaningful
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with clear reporting
• Reproduce and isolate defects using logs, payloads, database records, and support reports
