Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking an experienced SDET to ensure the quality of ETL processes and data integration workflows. You will design and implement automated tests for data transformations, collaborate with data engineers and developers, and help improve data pipeline reliability.

The ideal candidate has extensive ETL testing experience, strong SQL, and hands-on experience with AWSBig Data services. This is a remote, contract role with focus on data quality and automation across cloud-based ETL

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in ETL testing and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design to understand and feedback.
• Develop and implement test strategies for complex data initiatives.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Create automation test framework and automate test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with thorough root cause analysis.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements.
• Track quality metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
