Truelogic is seeking a meticulous Data QA Engineer to safeguard the integrity and reliability of complex enterprise data ecosystems. You will validate ETL pipelines, ensure accurate data migrations, and confirm that transformed data reflects true business logic before analytics consumption.

The ideal candidate combines strong SQL skills with hands-on test automation experience, Python scripting, and proficiency in BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Advanced ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for data verification, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven track record validating ETL/ELT data pipelines and warehouse transformations.
• Hands-on experience testing database objects and structures, with knowledge of normalization and schema validation.
• Practical experience documenting test plans, cases, results, and defects in JIRA or TestRail.

Responsibilities

• Validate ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
• Write and execute complex SQL to verify data correctness and referential integrity.
• Test data migrations and verify business logic in BI reports using Tableau/Power BI.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for database regression and integration testing.
• Identify slow queries, review execution plans, and collaborate with DBAs on performance tuning.
• Track defects using JIRA/TestRail and drive data quality best practices across engineering teams.
