Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking an experienced SDET Automation Engineer, Vault, to develop and execute automated test scripts and enhance test suites for web applications. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases and will leverage Playwright, along with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and other environments.

The position is 100% remote with a potential hybrid option for candidates in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SDET, automation, or related testing role.
• Strong programming or test automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript & Python.
• Hands-on experience building end-to-end automated tests using Playwright, Cypress or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts with Playwright.
• Design end-to-end automation strategies for Vault web apps.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites as apps evolve.
• Automate manual tests via API-driven and UI workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and cross-browser testing.
• Validate behavior across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and other environments.
• Identify, document and track defects and verify fixes.
• Analyze failures and root causes to improve quality.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD workflows to boost release confidence.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to test architecture and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve testability and coverage.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve development, debugging and docs.
