Job summary

Keeper Security, Inc. is seeking an experienced SDET Automation Engineer for Vault to develop and execute automated test scripts, enhance suites, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This 100% remote role offers a path to a hybrid schedule for candidates in CA or the Chicago metro area.

You will work with Playwright, Cypress and related tools to ensure quality across Keeper’s web applications, contribute to automation strategy, and help drive release confidence for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SDET, test automation or related technical testing role.
• Hands-on automated testing with Playwright, Cypress or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of test automation design and maintainable architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and related frameworks.
• Design end-to-end automation strategies for Vault web applications and user workflows.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites as the application evolves.
• Automate manual test scenarios using API-driven and UI-based test workflows.
• Validate application behavior across Chrome, Firefox, Safari and other environments.
• Identify, document and track defects and verify fixes through retesting.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows and support release confidence.
