Mind Computing is seeking a fulltime, 100% remote Scrum Master to support a Department of Veterans Affairs project. The role guides Agile practices, facilitates ceremonies, and ensures the team meets goals while collaborating with stakeholders.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale software initiatives, strong facilitation skills, and proficiency with Jira/Trello. SAFe/Kanban experience and government project familiarity are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software projects.
• Proven track record managing large-scale software development initiatives.
• Skilled at facilitating briefings with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Demos, and PI Planning.
• Build relationships to promote collaboration across cross-functional Agile teams supporting CI/CD.
• Identify and remove impediments hindering team progress.
• Assist Product Manager with backlog management, prioritization, and alignment to business goals.
• Coach teams on Agile values, SAFe/Kanban practices, and process improvements.
• Work with senior client leadership and stakeholders to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Guide development teams in self-organization and cross-functionality for peak performance.
• Mediate conflicts and ensure healthy communication among team, Product Manager, and stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement by applying Agile best practices.
