Job summary

Inadev seeks a Scrum Master to lead one or more agile teams in a primarily Reston, VA area with a hybrid work option. The candidate should coordinate with data engineers, data scientists, and developers to ensure timely delivery of complex data-driven projects for federal and commercial clients.

Responsibilities include leading scrum ceremonies, roadmapping, SDLC activities, and close collaboration with the Product Owner to write and refine user stories, estimates, and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline and 5 years of pertinent experience as a Scrum Master.
• Extensive experience working within Agile Frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Basic understanding of public cloud environments.
• Proficient in creating status reports (Sprint/Release charts, dashboards, risks).
• Ability to manage more than one team.
• Daily collaboration with the team to ensure timely delivery.
• Ability to generate reports in JIRA showing who is working on what.
• Act as liaison between development team and stakeholders as needed.
• Time estimates for tasks and stories must be reasonable and accurate.
• Excellent communication for non-technical stakeholders and effective visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the scrum master for the team and runs one or more scrum teams.
• Prepare integrated roadmaps and project schedules for priorities.
• Perform SDLC activities across varied technical environments.
• Follow best practices and develop procedures with analytical thinking.
• Assist with requirements elicitation, analysis, design, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with product owner to write good user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Review and edit user stories to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Own the Definition of Done with the team.
• Work with developers and testers to agree on acceptance criteria.
• Lead agile ceremonies and ensure on-time delivery.
