Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation is seeking a Scrum Master to empower one or more delivery teams with servant leadership and agile coaching. You will own the full ceremony lifecycle, coach Scrum values, remove impediments, and foster psychological safety and continuous improvement across teams.

Remote role (US) reporting to Senior Manager of Agile Delivery Management. You will facilitate ceremonies, drive data-informed retrospectives, and collaborate with PDLs/DMs for smooth delivery and alignment

Qualifications

2+ years of Scrum Master or agile facilitation experience with a delivery team.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
Coach teams on Scrum principles and agile values.
Experience facilitating retrospectives, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily standups.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent agile tools.
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
Independently support one to two teams through full sprint cycles.
Influence team behavior and culture without positional authority.

Responsibilities

Independently own and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies.
Design and evolve ceremony formats to team maturity.
Ensure ceremonies are productive, time-boxed, inclusive, and outcome-oriented.
Drive retrospective action items to completion and measure improvement.
Identify and remove impediments; escalate blockers when needed.
Coach teams on Scrum values and practices for continuous improvement.
Own team-level agile health metrics and reporting.
Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders; collaborate on backlog readiness.
Drive AI-enabled insights while ensuring human judgment remains.
