Job summary

Pearson is hiring remote scorers in the United States to evaluate responses for Florida teacher candidates and related subjects. The role supports scoring programs with a weekday schedule 8:30 AM–4:30 PM EST, starting at $17.50 per hour and remote work availability.

Qualified teachers or practitioners with relevant certification and experience may apply; work eligibility in the United States is required. Training is provided before scoring begins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• Current teaching certification in subject area required AND be practicing or have 5+ years’ recent experience in the service role in a public school in the subject area

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in discussions with other scorers
• Meet quality and productivity requirements for the scoring program
• Score remotely during assigned sessions (Mon-Fri) with a start time of 8:30 AM EST
