Job summary

Real is seeking a qualified DMPK professional to support drug discovery and development in a collaborative, science-driven environment. Remote with a hybrid option in New Jersey, the role focuses on nonclinical studies and ensuring timely data delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industry DMPK experience, expertise in PK/MetID/DDI, and strong organizational skills. BS/MS or PhD with relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of industrial DMPK experience in pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Experience with in vitro/in vivo study support; outsourcing a plus.
• Expertise in preclinical PK, MetID, and/or DDI highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• BS/MS with 3-5 years industrial experience or PhD with 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of contract labs for nonclinical studies.
• Manage study scheduling, shipment of study materials, archiving records, and reporting activities.
• Coordinate implementation of vendor contracts (MSAs, Quality Agreements, CDAs, Financial Agreements).
• Procure and track transfer of reference materials at contract analytical labs.
• Review incoming study results for accuracy in execution, data collection, and data analysis.
• Provide scientific input on study design, review, and interpretation of results.
• Prepare and maintain QC documentation (protocols, reports, test methods).
• Audit external nonclinical CROs including analytical laboratories.
• Manage study timelines to meet broader project needs.
• Perform QC of regulatory documents (IND, CTA, briefing book, NDA).
