Job summary

Parallel is seeking an experienced School Social Worker for a Georgia district assignment, starting November 2, 2026. This 1.0 FTE, 37.5 hours/week role is fully remote and focuses on Tier 2/3 counseling for students with learning differences, in a district setting that runs EST hours.

You will collaborate with IEP teams, utilize Panorama for progress tracking, and provide psycho-educational evaluations as caseload expands, while supporting families and school staff with training and guidance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for diverse student populations, families, and staff.
• Telehealth service delivery experience.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect social work services for K-12 students, focusing on Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop tailored treatment plans and IEPs with measurable goals.
• Offer systemic insights into cultural and familial factors affecting student well-being and performance.
• Lead mental health interventions and psycho-educational evaluations as caseload grows.
• Support families and school staff with parental guidance and staff training on behavior management.
