Job summary

Parallel is seeking an experienced School Social Worker for a district assignment in Georgia. This full-time role (1.0 FTE / 37.5 hours/week, EST) is fully remote and starts Nov 2, 2026. You will deliver Tier 2/3 counseling for K-12 students, collaborate on IEPs, and serve as a systemic expert across schools.

You will use Panorama for progress monitoring, conduct psycho‑educational evaluations as needed, and provide parental support and staff training to facilitate successful school adjustment.

Qualifications

• Active LCSW license in Georgia.
• GA SSW certification for K-12 required.
• Minimum 1 year of full‑time, on‑site school social work experience.
• Experience with MTSS frameworks and psycho‑educational evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling for students and families.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to develop treatment plans and IEPs.
• Offer insights on cultural, familial and societal factors affecting student behavior and wellbeing.
• Lead mental health interventions and psycho‑educational evaluations as caseload grows.
• Support families and staff with training on behavior management and school adjustment.
