Job summary

Parallel is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to deliver comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and psychological services to students nationwide. The role includes evaluating academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning and supporting IEP planning within MTSS.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide direct and indirect services, and help develop IEP goals focused on social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

Qualifications

• EdS degree (or equivalent) in school psychology from a NASP-approved program.
• For NC candidates, PhD or PsyD in school psychology is required, plus DPI license.
• Valid state license or certificate as a school psychologist.
• NCSP preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of full-time on-site school psychology experience.
• Experience across NASP domains of practice.
• Proven psycho-educational evaluation experience.
• Experience providing direct services within MTSS.
• Experience consulting with educators and families.
• Exceptional communication with diverse youth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations assessing academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Provide direct and indirect psychological services (intervention, counseling, consultation) for students with IEPs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals targeting social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
• Collaborate as part of multidisciplinary teams throughout evaluation and service delivery.
