Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Part-time School Psychologist to support students’ learning, social development, and mental health from a home-based setting. The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluations and collaboration with educators and families to create supportive learning environments for PK-12 students.

The ideal candidate has strong assessment expertise, licensure eligibility, and experience with school-based evaluations.

Qualifications

• Accredited graduate degree in School Psychology with 60+ graduate hours and internship.
• Current license or eligibility for School Psychologist certification in priority states.
• NSP Certification preferred.
• Experience conducting school-based psychological evaluations; virtual experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and punctuality.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours per week during school hours, up to 30 hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for PK-12 students using a range of assessment tools.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized tests to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports with findings, recommendations, and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
• Maintain confidential evaluation records in compliance with policies.
• Utilize diverse assessment methods to inform services and measure outcomes.
• Provide services including behavioral supports and counseling as appropriate.
