Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Active state School Psychologist certification or licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state where you are applying.
• NCSP Certification (not required).
• Experience conducting psychological assessments to students in an educational setting preferred.
• Someone who values collaboration and student-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Interpret assessment results to identify students' strengths and needs, informing educational planning and interventions.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students individually or in groups.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students.
• Participate in district and school meetings (IEP, MTSS, etc.).
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Conduct research and program evaluation to inform evidence-based practices.
• Stay current with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
