Stride, Inc. seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to work as a remote 1099 contractor, screening, assessing and treating students with fine motor, sensory processing, or related needs under IEP guidance.

The role involves scheduling with parents and teachers, documenting progress, and coordinating with school staff to ensure FAPE. The OT contractor will work from a professional home office, may supervise up to two COTAs, and may obtain licensure in multiple states to serve students across

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years experience in public school environment as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in at least one state.
• Ability to work independently and manage a home office.
• Experience teaching in an online/virtual environment is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with assistive technology and accessibility tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to learn new teaching platforms and adapt to changes.
• Capability to coach and collaborate with administrators and staff.
• Must be able to pass required background checks.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with parents and teachers to create schedules that encourage attendance and participation.
• Develop progress reports and state-specific documentation.
• Provide individual and group OT sessions addressing sensory-motor needs.
• Administer online OT assessments and track student progress.
• Develop and implement OT treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Maintain records using designated systems for compliance.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to integrate OT goals into student plans.
• Participate in meetings with families and school staff.
• Supervise up to 2 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) if assigned.
