Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an experienced STAGES Occupational Therapist (OT) contractor to screen, assess, and treat students with fine motor and sensory processing needs across schools.

This is a 1099 Independent Consultant position, requiring state licensure and residency in the United States. You will work primarily from a home office, collaborating with IEP teams to develop goals and implement therapy plans while supervising up to two COTAs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in public school environment as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Strong communication with parents, teachers and IEP teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage a professional home office.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment and treatment services per IEP.
• Supervise up to 2 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Maintain documentation: progress reports, treatment plans and IEP-related records.
• Administer online OT assessments and determine student functioning levels.
• Develop and implement OT treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
• Collaborate with school staff and families on program implementation.
• Ensure compliance with state, school and Stride policies.
• Maintain data and records for accessibility and compliance.
