Stride, Inc. via its K12 Private Academy seeks a School Counselor for a fully remote, nationwide role.

The counselor will support students’ academic success, social-emotional development, and college/career planning within a rigorous, data-driven counseling program. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree with a preference for a Master's in school counseling and a valid school counselor license.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with distance learning is preferred.
• Experience in a customer service environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal laws and mandated reporting.

Aufgaben

• Plan for postsecondary options and college/career readiness.
• Meet quarterly with all students on caseload to review graduation plan.
• Review transcripts and academic documentation for new and returning students.
• Develop a four-year graduation plan and audit student schedules for candidacy.
• Analyze student data and develop data-driven intervention plans.
• Provide short-term counseling and referrals for long-term support.
