Stride, Inc. seeks a full-time School Counselor for the K12 Private Academy in a virtual role available to residents of all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

The counselor will guide students in postsecondary planning, academic achievement, and college readiness. Requires state Department of Education School Counselor Certification, Bachelor's degree with 3 years of counseling experience, and a School Counselor License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree AND three years of counseling/advisement experience.
• School Counselor License and ability to clear background check.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based search engines and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan postsecondary options and counseling for students.
• Meet quarterly with all students on caseload to review graduation plan and post-secondary options.
• Deliver classroom instruction based on student success standards.
• Review transcripts and other academic documentation for new and returning students.
• Develop a four-year graduation plan and audits student schedules for candidacy for graduation.
