Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in counseling/advisement.
• School Counselor License and ability to clear required background check.
• Master’s degree in school counseling and related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Helps all students with postsecondary options (education, military, workforce).
• Focuses students and families on college and career readiness.
• Meets quarterly with caseload to review graduation plans and post-secondary options.
• Delivers classroom instruction based on student success standards.
• Reviews transcripts and other academic documentation for new/returning students.
• Develops four-year graduation plans and audits schedules for graduation candidacy.
