Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of counseling/advisement experience required.
• School Counselor License required.
• Ability to clear background check.
• Proficiency in MS Office, web search engines and databases.
• Master's degree in school counseling preferred.
• Experience with distance learning preferred.
• Advanced coursework in counseling/administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote student success through preventive services and counseling.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive school counseling program.
• Guide students in academic, social-emotional development and career planning.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan four-year graduation/college pathways.
• Review transcripts and assist with course placement and AP decisions.
• Analyze student data to inform intervention plans.
• Travel up to 20% for professional development and testing.
