Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist-CCC for a part-time teletherapy role at a therapeutic day school in Illinois. The position is remote, integrates with school teams, and runs through June 2027 with steady hours (~5 hours/week).

Candidates must hold an Illinois SLP license and PEL, ASHA SLP-CCC, and have at least two years of school-based experience. Teletherapy experience is preferred. 1099 contract with benefits possible; compensation ranges $40–$60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois SLP license and PEL
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Minimum of two years' recent school-based speech therapy experience
• Teletherapy or virtual instruction experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with educational teams
• Independent work and managing a small caseload virtually

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual speech-language therapy to students at a therapeutic day school
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students
• Conduct evaluations, write progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain compliance with state and district regulations
