Job summary

CorVel is seeking a remote Scheduling Coordinator located to support the Central or Eastern time zones within the United States. The role emphasizes accuracy and urgency to schedule medical appointments for claimants, while leveraging proprietary systems and MS Office for data handling.

The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities, with duties including inbound/outbound calls, data review, and coordination with case stakeholders to ensure service levels

Qualifications

• High-volume call-center experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet designated deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office and proprietary systems.
• Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic customer service in an inbound and outbound high-volume call-center environment.
• Complete accurate data review and entry.
• Learn and operate corporate proprietary systems.
• Schedule medical appointments for claimants and own the results of assigned cases.
• Ensure all case stakeholders are updated regularly.
• Type and proofread reports and correspondence via email and management systems.
• Transcribe correspondence/reports from dictation.
• Use problem solving to avoid delays in scheduling.
• Meet departmental production and quality targets.
• Additional duties as assigned.
