Job summary

The Haskell Company is looking for an entry-level Scheduler to develop foundational skills in scheduling fundamentals, tools, and processes. You will assist in development, preparation, and maintenance of project schedules with oversight from Lead/Senior Schedulers.

You will learn and apply scheduling policies, participate in schedule updates, and support multiple projects and teams while gaining exposure to reporting and project coordination on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred or 0 - 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead/Senior Scheduler with applying and tracking actual start/finish status for procurement and construction activities.
• Learn to compare actual progress against planned work activities.
• Facilitate schedule update meetings under guidance of Lead/Senior Schedulers.
• Assist in generating look-ahead schedules for the project team.
• Learn and assist in writing monthly reporting requirements, including narratives.
• Learn how to analyze schedules and explain schedule/float paths to achieve project completion.
• Assist in managing multiple projects and teams.
• Apply scheduling policies and processes.
• Assist in creating/updating construction project schedules.
• Assist in applying contractual/project requirements to the schedule.
