Job summary
EthosEnergy is seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer to design and optimize operator interfaces within AVEVA System Platform (OMI) for remote power plant operations. You will translate control philosophies into modern SCADA visuals that reduce cognitive load and improve reliability.
Collaborate with Performance Center operators, control engineers, and software developers to deliver high-performance interfaces for gas, renewables, and energy storage assets.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in SCADA/HMI or control system interface design.
- Experience with AVEVA System Platform (Wonderware) / OMI.
- Experience designing intuitive SCADA/HMI screens for energy facilities.
Responsibilities
- SCADA UI/UX design & development for operator interfaces.
- Design graphics, dashboards, and visualization templates in AVEVA System Platform (OMI).
- Recreate and enhance plant DCS screens into standardized SCADA interfaces.
- Apply UX best practices to improve situational awareness and alarm visibility.
- Develop reusable object templates and graphic libraries for scalable deployment.
- Collaborate with remote operators to optimize workflows and safety.
- Standardize visual hierarchy across fleet deployments.
- Conduct usability reviews and iterate designs based on feedback.
