Job summary

SmartSourcing Ltd is recruiting for an experienced SC Cleared CHECK Team Lead (CTL)/Penetration Tester to join a major Government programme. This is a remote contract with outside IR35 and a daily rate of £650-£700.

You will deliver ITHCs, penetration testing and security assurance across complex environments, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure high standards and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• SC Cleared with CHECK Team Lead experience in security testing.
• Senior cyber security professional with government programme exposure.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members.
• Ability to deliver and lead security testing engagements to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead security testing engagements including CTL work and pen testing.
• Deliver ITHCs, security assurance activities across complex environments.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and drive security excellence.
