Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Portfolio Manager to run all aspects of an assigned Structured Finance portfolio, ensuring compliance with SBA and USDA standards, profitability, and risk controls. You will strengthen client and stakeholder partnerships through proactive oversight and credit analysis.

The role requires reviewing financial statements, coordinating disbursements, monitoring performance, and presenting quarterly portfolio reviews to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• 3+ years relevant experience.
• Ability to manage client relationships and credit risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio through current knowledge of client’s financial condition, performance and industry trends; take timely action to minimize losses.
• Review and process loan advances for pre-development, development, construction, and revolving credit facilities; coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Conduct ongoing credit assessments, monitor account performance, and identify emerging risks or opportunities through financial reviews and covenant compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, manufacturers, and internal partners to support deal flow and customer experience.
• Oversee problem loans and workout credits by developing action plans and guiding clients toward resolution strategies.
• Coordinate and collaborate with auditors, regulators, and SBA/USDA representatives; provide required documentation for audits.
• Prepare quarterly and annual portfolio reviews and present key findings to leadership teams.
• Structure and underwrite changes to existing deals for management.
• Other duties as assigned.
