Job summary

Revolution Prep is seeking an Online Professional Tutor to teach students from home as a full-time W‑2 employee. The role includes paid onboarding, training, and a supportive tutor community, with a schedule emphasizing evenings and weekends.

Compensation starts at $25/hour with potential to reach $29/hour after a 90‑day review; prep and training time are paid at $10/hour or higher minimum wage. Benefits include health insurance and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s degree (additional qualifications a plus)
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and current residence required
• Minimum one year of teaching or tutoring experience; expertise in AP STEM subjects a plus
• Ability to tutor math through Algebra II
• Reliable high‑speed internet with a quiet, professional space; tech kit provided if needed
• Commit to the same 38 hours of availability week‑on‑week during weekday afternoons/evenings and at least 8 hours of weekends
• Commitment to a minimum of one year of employment

Responsibilities

• Lead dynamic tutoring sessions (SAT/ACT test prep, executive function coaching – 90%)
• Discuss educational progress with students and families – 5%
• Utilize curated resources for stress‑free planning – 5%
• Commit to 30 hours minimum per week with availability of 38 hours, including evenings and weekends
• Compensation: $25/hour for tutoring; opportunity to earn up to $29/hour at 90‑day review. Prep and training time compensated at $10/hour or local minimum wage (whichever is higher).
