Job summary

Sophos is seeking a Role Summary of SAP SuccessFactors Platform Manager to own delivery, operation, governance, and continuous improvement of the SAP SuccessFactors platform. The role partners with HR, IT, Finance, and external partners to deliver stable, secure HR technology.

This hands-on leadership role manages a team of 4-6 across Manila and the UK, shaping solutions and driving end-to-end delivery with a focus on governance, data quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience including platform administration, configuration, governance, and integrations.
• Proven experience delivering HR technology projects end to end with planning, stakeholder management, risk, reporting, and budget control.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments with backlog management and ceremonies.
• Ability to challenge senior HR stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Understanding of HR processes, data privacy, security, audit controls, and service management.
• Degree in IT, Business, HR, or related field; SAP SuccessFactors, ITIL, Agile or PM certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Mature the HR technology operating model, including governance, release management, support processes, data quality, service ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Manage a SuccessFactors development team of 4-6 across Manila and the UK, covering new module delivery, enhancements, integrations, releases, and BAU support.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery, including scope, planning, execution, reporting, risks, issues, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee SuccessFactors configuration, testing, deployment, role-based permissions, integrations, data quality, and compliance controls.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to capture requirements, challenge existing approaches, and translate needs into simple, scalable technology solutions.
• Translate HR strategy into a practical technology roadmap that improves employee experience, manager self-service, process efficiency, automation, compliance, and reporting quality.
• Facilitate Agile delivery, including backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and clear reporting on progress and blockers.
• Use AI as a core delivery capability across analysis, planning, documentation, testing, stakeholder communication, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement.
• Support HR with the delivery and improvement of other HR technology platforms where required, ensuring joined-up planning, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
• Shape solutions with HR and delivery teams, not simply implement requested changes.
