Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Implementation and Testing Manager for a remote, high-visibility engagement with a major financial services client. You will drive testing from planning through post-go-live, partnering with Accounting, Finance, and Technology to ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Manager-level experience supporting financial systems implementations, ERP transformations, or accounting system conversions.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing comprehensive testing plans for financial systems.
• Experience with UAT, SIT, and regression testing; defect management and remediation.
• CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting testing during SAP S/4HANA implementation and go-live activities.
• Develop test strategies, scripts, scenarios, and validation procedures.
• Execute SIT, UAT, regression testing, and post-implementation validation.
• Validate GL activity, financial reporting outputs, and data integrity.
• Document results, coordinate issue resolution, and perform retesting after remediation.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and Technology stakeholders on corrections.
• Support Excel-based reporting workbooks using SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office.
• Assist with go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilization.
• Create procedures, process docs, and training materials for adoption.
• Provide knowledge transfer to permanent Accounting team members.
