Job summary

CAI is seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst to advance a large-scale SAP environment for a water utility client. This is a full-time contract and remote role, requiring deep ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and S/4HANA expertise.

You will design, develop, and support ABAP solutions, CDS data models, and RAP/OData services while applying ATC and TDD practices to ensure clean-core governance and reliable delivery. Join CAI’s global team and impact critical infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as an SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst with knowledge of water utility processes.
• Strong experience writing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ABAP code.
• Experience with SAP Core Data Services (CDS).
• Proficiency with Fiori/UI5 application development and SAP HANA tech.
• Hands-on ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and clean-core governance.
• Experience developing and executing ABAP Unit Tests.
• Experience CVA security assessments for ABAP.
• Experience using ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse.
• Experience SAP Analyze Custom Code tools and remediation.
• Experience with RAP.
• Knowledge of TDD practices.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations and API development.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere APIs and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and support SAP S/4HANA processes, focusing on water utility operations.
• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA.
• Create and enhance CDS views and data models.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori/UI5 apps and HANA-based solutions.
• Configure and use ATC to support clean-core governance.
• Develop and execute ABAP Unit Tests to validate function and events.
• Perform security analyses using CVA for ABAP.
• Use ADT in Eclipse for ABAP Cloud development.
• Assess custom code with SAP Analyze Custom Code tools for migration.
• Develop OData services and RAP-based applications.
• Apply Test‑Driven Development practices to improve code quality.
• Design and troubleshoot S/4HANA integrations and APIs.
• Develop reporting with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.
• Convert legacy SQVI queries to SAP Analytics Cloud reports.
• Leverage SAP Datasphere APIs for enterprise data integration.
