Job summary

CAI is seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst to support a large-scale SAP environment for a client. This full-time contract role is remote, offering close collaboration with global teams and exposure to ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and HANA.

You will analyze processes, develop ABAP and CDS views, build RAP models, and contribute to clean-core governance and modern SAP solutions. Water utility domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as an SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst with knowledge of water utility processes.
• Strong experience writing, maintaining, and troubleshooting modern ABAP code.
• Experience developing and working with SAP Core Data Services (CDS).
• Proficiency with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and SAP HANA technologies.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and clean-core governance.
• Experience developing and executing ABAP Unit Tests.
• Experience with Code Vulnerability Analyzer (CVA) for ABAP security assessments.
• Experience configuring ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse.
• Experience with SAP Analyze Custom Code tools and remediation initiatives.
• Experience using RAP (ABAP RESTful) for business apps.
• Knowledge of TDD practices and SAP S/4HANA integrations.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere.
• Experience with Datasphere APIs and enterprise data integration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and support SAP S/4HANA processes, especially water utility operations.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot ABAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Create and enhance CDS views and data models.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Configure ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) for clean-core governance.
• Develop and execute ABAP Unit Tests to validate functionality.
• Perform security analysis with Code Vulnerability Analyzer (CVA).
• Use ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse for ABAP Cloud development.
• Assess custom code with SAP Analyze Custom Code tools for migration/modernization.
• Develop OData services and RAP-based applications.
• Apply Test-Driven Development to improve code quality.
• Design/support SAP S/4HANA integrations and API development.
• Develop reporting with SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere.
• Migrate legacy queries to SAP Analytics Cloud reporting.
