Job summary

Signet Jewelers, a global leader in diamond jewelry, is seeking an experienced E-commerce Tech Lead for SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris). This remote role combines hands-on development with technical leadership to drive enterprise eCommerce initiatives.

Lead engineering teams, ensure coding standards, collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architects, and deliver scalable Hybris-based solutions while supporting CI/CD and release activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development experience.
• Proven experience leading development teams on enterprise eCommerce projects.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise eCommerce applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Serve as the technical lead for one or more Agile development teams.
• Develop complex features, extensions, and integrations.
• Translate requirements into high-quality application code.
• Mentor and support developers through technical guidance and pair programming.
• Collaborate with architects to implement solution designs and standards.
• Estimate development effort and participate in sprint planning and releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across environments.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release management.
