Job summary

Pathward, National Association is seeking a Manager, Sanctions Operations to lead the day‑to‑day OFAC, 314(a), and PEP screening efforts. You will ensure robust queue management, a second review over dispositions, and adherence to SLAs while guiding a team through workload balance and process improvements.

You will collaborate with the sanctions program team on model updates, list changes, and testing; support audits and OCC walkthroughs, and drive data-driven decisions in a high-volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field is required.
• CAMS certification required; CGSS preferred.
• 5–8 years of BSA/AML or sanctions screening experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership in an operations or screening environment.
• Hands-on experience with OFAC/314(a)/PEP screening platforms and disposition workflows.
• Proven ability to meet SLAs in high-volume queues.
• Strong knowledge of OFAC/sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of OFAC, 314(a), and PEP screening queues ensuring SLA adherence.
• Supervise the sanctions operations team and balance workloads.
• Provide second-level review of screening dispositions with audit-ready documentation.
• Monitor productivity and reduce overtime by expanding analyst capacity.
• Manage escalation workflow and route true matches for blocking/reporting.
• Collaborate on model changes, list updates, and testing that affect queues.
• Support audits, independent testing, and OCC examination walkthroughs.
