Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to support an enterprise Salesforce CRM platform from a remote setting. You will contribute to wireframes, prototyping, UI design, and requirement visualization while collaborating with cross-functional teams under a DoD security framework.

You'll apply SLDS, conduct user research, and ensure WCAG-compliant designs. A strong portfolio and DoD accessibility expertise are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years work experience with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
• US Citizenship
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• 2 years designing within enterprise CRM or Salesforce environments
• Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end enterprise application design work
• Experience with human-centered design methodologies, design thinking, and journey mapping
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and front-end technologies (HTML/CSS)

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for Salesforce Lightning pages and Experience Cloud portals
• Support the lead designer in translating business requirements into scalable, user-centered design solutions
• Apply the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) to ensure design consistency across the CRM platform
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to identify pain points and inform design decisions
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and product owners to ensure designs are technically feasible within platform constraints
• Define and maintain design system documentation, component libraries, and reusable patterns for the CRM ecosystem
• Facilitate design reviews and present design rationale to cross-functional teams and government stakeholders
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA compliance)
