FanDuel Group is seeking a Technical Release Specialist to oversee end-to-end release lifecycle across engineering, QA, product, and operations. You will coordinate deployments, standardize processes, and drive release quality while accelerating time to market.

The role requires Salesforce expertise and strong release-management skills, with hands-on experience in Agile environments, Copado, and multi-language tech stack.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Technology.
• 4–6 years of progressive software development experience with a minimum 4+ years Salesforce deployment.
• Experience managing delivery of application change in an agile environment.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Framework, Apex, SOQL, and Visualforce.
• Proven track record implementing complex Salesforce solutions and integrations.
• Experience planning, scheduling, implementing releases in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce security models, sharing rules, and governance.
• Strong experience in Copado.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Salesforce certifications are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain consistent, repeatable deployment practices to reduce risk and improve quality.
• Implement structured release workflows that reduce production outages and business disruption.
• Serve as the central point of communication, aligning engineering, QA, product, and operations.
• Streamline approvals and release workflows to improve time to market for features.
• Oversee testing, validation, and risk assessments to protect customer experience.
• Provide day-to-day support for release management inquiries.
• Coordinate scope of change, release details, and documentation generation.
• Maintain clear rollback plans to enable rapid recovery from deployment issues.
• Balance competing needs, resources, and timelines to keep releases on track.
• Support engineers to focus on development by coordinating release activities.
• Plan and schedule environment refreshes for data consistency across environments.
• Manage sandbox creation, updates, and upkeep for development and QA.
