Job summary

CloudQnect, LLC is seeking a Salesforce Release Manager to oversee end-to-end release processes, policies and tools. You will liaise between applications development and production, optimizing deployments and sandbox strategies while engaging stakeholders and managing schedules.

You will lead release governance, coordinate cross-domain activities, and ensure production readiness with clear communication on milestones and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce and/or software development with proven release responsibilities.
• Prior experience as a people manager.
• Proficiency in application development release processes and tools.
• Proficiency and comfort with MS Project, demonstrating ability to work closely with Project Managers and Planner/Scheduler.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, dependencies and risks with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, audit, monitor and enforce established release management processes and policies.
• Provide support to domain-specific release management resources in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate release program activities and function as a subject matter expert in release management.
• Ensure alignment with client deployment expectations and keep development teams updated on changes.
• Create and track the release improvement process across Salesforce domain and functions.
• Communicate releases to stakeholders with clear visibility and go/no-go decisions.
• Define and enforce Salesforce sandbox management practices, including periodic refreshes.
• Collaborate with project management to raise and mitigate release risks.
• Demonstrate problem solving, time management and urgency in high-pressure situations.
