Job summary

CloudQnect, LLC is seeking a Salesforce Release Manager to oversee end-to-end release processes, policies and tools. You will liaise between applications development and production, optimizing deployments and sandbox strategies while engaging stakeholders and managing schedules.

You will lead release governance, coordinate cross-domain activities, and ensure production readiness with clear communication on milestones and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce and/or software development with proven release responsibilities.
• Prior experience as a people manager.
• Proficiency in application development release processes and tools.
• Proficiency and comfort with MS Project, demonstrating ability to work closely with Project Managers and Planner/Scheduler.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, dependencies and risks with strong organizational skills.

CloudQnect is seeking a Salesforce Release Manager with a solid understanding of all facets of domain release management, process design, optimization, schedule, policy and stakeholder engagement.. You will be the major liaison between application development and production for release management control. As a leader of these projects, you will manage and optimize the release process, including deployment tools and sandbox strategies. This position allows you to work with our clients, learn CloudQnect, and gain valuable experience to further your career.

What the Work Looks Like

• Develop, audit, monitor and enforce established release management processes and policies in support of cross-domain configuration integration, testing, completeness and consistency.
• Provide support to domain-specific release management resources in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate release program activities and functions as a subject matter expert in release management, ensuring production readiness in a timely fashion.
• Ensure alignment with client deployment expectations and processes, keeping development teams up-to-date on changes with schedule, processes or policies.
• Create and track the release improvement process to be applied across Salesforce domain and functions.
• Responsible for release communication to stakeholders ensuring clear visibility and accountability for releases, to include Release Readiness Reviews, Milestones, Go/No-Go Decisions.
• Define and enforce Salesforce sandbox management practices, to include periodic refreshes.
• Work closely with project management to raise and mitigate release risks.
• Demonstrate problem solving, interpersonal skills, time management, and high level sense of urgency to high pressure and complex situations.

What You Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce and/or software development with proven release responsibilities
• Prior experience as a people manager
• Proficiency in application development release processes and tools
• Proficiency and comfort with MS Project, demonstrating ability to work closely with Project Managers and Planner/Scheduler make assumptions and manage shifting schedules. Must be able to articulate and manage tasks, dependencies, task durations and risks in a timely manner
• Good verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build and manage relationships with clients and internal CloudQnect team
• Ability to proactively keep the team mindful of deadlines and requirements; clearly articulates what and why process steps are necessary, providing excellent organizational and analytical abilities

Would Like You to Have

• Salesforce Certifications: Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer, Admin, Platform App Builder, Copado Admin
• ITIL certification in release management
