Job summary

LTS is seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Release Engineer to join our team and support a program with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role is 100% remote and focuses on managing release processes and CI/CD pipelines across Salesforce environments.

We require a BS in CS/IS or equivalent, 2+ years in release management, and hands-on experience with Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub, Jira, Confluence. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS or IS.
• 2+ years in release management or similar role.
• Experience managing releases in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Knowledge of Salesforce release lifecycle and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Copado and pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
• Hands-on with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with code quality tools (CodeScan, PMD).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the integrity and quality of software releases.
• Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
• Debug and troubleshoot release-related issues.
• Document and improve release processes and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to release schedules and deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.
• Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders.
