Job summary

M&S Consulting is seeking a Software Engineer I to support Salesforce integration for a federal contact center program. This remote role requires active Tier 2 clearance and focuses on design, development, testing, and documentation of integration solutions, with collaboration across management and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience considered).
• 0–3 years of relevant professional experience; 0 years of experience within the scope of the contract required.
• Familiarity with software engineering practices, design techniques, and tools.
• Ability to review and work within legacy systems.
• Current Tier 2 Security Clearance required at time of engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and programs to meet complex Salesforce integration business needs
• Code, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex software programs supporting contact center integration requirements
• Prepare detailed specifications from which integration programs are developed and coded
• Ensure programs meet standards, technical specifications, and applicable IT governance requirements
• Perform technical analysis and component delivery across integration workstreams
• Analyze and gather information from existing Salesforce and contact center systems
• Support software development cost estimation and schedule planning
• Explore new technologies and design approaches to address integration requirements
• Coordinate with the management team to ensure problem resolution and client satisfaction
• Complete tasks within estimated timeframes and budget constraints
• Support UAT and go-live activities
• Attend scheduled and ad hoc meetings as required
