Job summary

Texas Education Agency seeks a Salesforce Software Engineer/Consultant to design, customize, test, and deploy our Public Sector Salesforce solution and Grantmaking platform. This role collaborates with staff, grantees, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Salesforce solutions and ensures ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Salesforce Flow automation experience.
• 7+ years in Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
• 7+ years in DevOps and deployment management (Salesforce DX, version control, CI/CD).
• 7+ years in data migration and ETL processes.
• 4+ years configuring/administering Salesforce Platform for Public Sector (PSS) License.
• 4+ years with Experience Cloud and Community Plus.
• 4+ years report and dashboard development.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce Public Sector Solution and Grantmaking platform.
• Collaborate with internal staff, grantees, and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions.
• Design and implement custom applications, workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, and data management processes.
• Support data migration, data validation, system integration, and quality assurance activities.
• Develop system documentation, configuration documentation, business process documentation, and user guides.
• Troubleshoot system issues and implement enhancements to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience.
• Coordinate system updates, testing, deployment activities, and production releases.
• Ensure the system remains accessible, secure, compliant, and aligned with agency policies.
• Work with teams across the agency to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical assistance and ongoing support to internal users and external stakeholders.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer: develop materials and deliver training.
• Promote user adoption and act as trusted trainer for agency personnel.
