Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer to help our U.S. commercial org leverage Salesforce for account management and growth. You will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce-driven solutions, and write high-quality code to strengthen selling capabilities and customer experiences.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, work with Apex and LWC, and ensure production deployments meet quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Hands-on experience writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-level code using Apex and Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and proficiency in Apex and/or another object-oriented programming language such as C, C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Salesforce development, integrations, APIs, source control, automated testing, and production deployments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into Salesforce and Oracle CPQ based solutions to improve account management and customer engagement.
• Develop and maintain production-level code for Salesforce and Oracle CPQ integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement scalable resolutions.
• Analyze requirements for new features and document technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom software, databases, and automated tests.
• Manage changes with source control and deploy production-ready releases.
• Coordinate QA and UAT testing for new functionality.
• Collaborate with Release Management, Technical Governance, and Change Advisory to meet standards.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive adoption and effectiveness.
