Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer to shape how our U.S. commercial org uses Salesforce to manage accounts and drive growth.

You will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce-driven solutions, writing high-quality code to enhance selling capabilities and customer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, implement robust testing, and ensure deployments meet security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Hands-on Apex and Salesforce Lightning Web Components development.
• Strong OOP principles; proficient in Apex or Java/C#/JavaScript.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, source control, testing, and deployments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Customer Solutions teams to translate business needs into Salesforce and Oracle CPQ based solutions.
• Write, develop, and maintain production-level code for Salesforce and Oracle CPQ software solutions and integrations.
• Conduct root cause analysis on user-reported issues and implement scalable resolutions.
• Analyze requirements for new features and document technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom software, database components, and automated tests.
• Manage changes via source code repositories and coordinate production deployments.
• Coordinate QA and UAT testing to verify new functionality before release.
• Collaborate with Release Management and Governance teams to meet standards.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to drive adoption and effectiveness.
