Job summary

ICF International seeks a seasoned Salesforce Developer to contribute across the full lifecycle—from architecture to deployment—utilizing Apex and Lightning to build scalable, high-performance components. You will model data, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust Salesforce solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in Salesforce development, US residency and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Public Trust clearance (ability to obtain and maintain).
U.S. residency/work authorization required in the U.S.
Must have lived in the U.S. 3 of the last 5 years.
Experience with web programming including HTML, CSS and JavaScript (preferred).
Experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, SOQL (preferred).
Experience with Copado CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
Experience building REST APIs for external systems integrations (preferred).
Experience in Agile and SAFe teams (preferred).

Responsibilities

Participate in full application life cycle: architecture, design, development, testing and deployment.
Write, test, and deploy high-performance Apex code.
Create and customize Lightning Components for UI enhancements.
Design data models and Salesforce objects including custom fields/relationships.
Perform performance optimizations and code quality practices.
Gather requirements and translate user stories to technical tasks.
Collaborate with designers/engineers on frontend/backend needs.
Assist users with troubleshooting Salesforce platform issues.
Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, demos, retrospectives, sprints.
Document development processes and technical designs for maintainability.
