Sunrun Inc. is seeking a senior software professional to lead Salesforce/CRM initiatives, architect solutions, and guide delivery across cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes aligning technical work with Sunrun’s business processes, enabling scalable solar and storage solutions. You will collaborate with CRM Eng, product, and operations to ensure timely delivery, maintain system stability, and drive improvements across Salesforce Platform and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/EE or equivalent
• 5 years of experience as a Software Developer with HTML5, XML, Web Services, RESTful services, Web API, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Salesforce Field Service, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes, propose improvements and opportunities, conduct requirements gathering sessions
• Provide sign-off on scope agreements with the business and boundary system teams
• Educate the team on functionality relevance to Sunrun’s business processes
• Ensure timely delivery of business requirements
• Manage resource load for CRM Engineering team
• Act as solution architect to determine level of effort and post‑implementation support
• Prioritize defects/new requirements or changes
• Serve as escalation point for issues from the support team
• Negotiate scope based on capacity and alignment
• Review code and suggest best practices and new design patterns
• Ensure designs align with software strategy and coordinate with Salesforce Product team for bugs/features
• Monitor performance and ensure employees are used effectively to meet career objectives
• Develop and implement Salesforce/AI initiatives aligned with business objectives
